PSC: Thoughts on Photography

Heute möchte ich Euch wieder einmal einen Podcast zum Thema Fotografie vorstellen:

In “Thoughts on Photography” äußert Paul Giguere seine Gedanken zu Kunst im allgemeinen, Fotografie im Speziellen, künstlerischer Fotografie im ganz Speziellen. Interviews mit interessanten Gesprächspartnern aus der Kunst- und Medienwelt stellen ein wichtiges Element dar, mit dem der Fotograf aus Arlington, Massachusetts, seinen Podcast attraktiv gestaltet. Paul’s Podcast zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die technische Komponente im Sinne von Hardware (wenn überhaupt) nur eine sehr untergeordnete Rolle spielt. Paul’s Ausführungen kreisen um Fragestellungen wie Inspiration, Motivation, Präsentation, Selbstverständnis, Individualität, Stil, Identität und Marketing aus der Perspektive des Künstlers.

Born in 1966 in the former mill city of Lowell, Massachusetts (USA) and now a resident of Arlington, Massachusetts, Paul Giguere’s love of photography began when he received his first camera (a Kodak Instamatic) when he was eight years old. Paul’s formal educational training is in the area of education and human services and he had always found ways to integrate photography into his work and his life in general by creating a second career in fine art photography.

Paul has had his worked exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries, photographic centers, and museums throughout the United States and his images have been published in various photographic books and magazines.
